Crime Round-up: Burglary suspects ram car through Waipahu shop

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu CrimeStoppers are searching for a group of burglary suspects who rammed a car through a vape shop in Waipahu.
Police said it happened just past 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 4 when three suspects reversed a white Kia sedan into the 24 Vapes store, bursting through the doors.
Officials said the men then entered the store, removed numerous vape products, left the Kia sedan, and then fled the scene in an awaiting white SUV driven by an unknown driver.
The incident was caught on camera by the store’s surveillance system.
Authorities released the following descriptions of the vehicles involved in the burglary:
Meanwhile, CrimeStoppers said they are also looking for a burglary suspect in Aiea.
Police obtained video of a man forcefully opening the gate to the Hawaiian Telcom property and then cutting the power to the property’s main breaker.
HPD said the suspect then entered the main office building and removed various items. He also entered and took items from two vehicles.
The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
This happened on Oct. 1 around 11:30 p.m.
He’s described as having a medium complexion, in his 20s to 30s, medium build, tattoo on both arms, wearing a black graphic tee, blue jeans, black slippers, and black hat.
Honolulu police are also searching for a suspect accused of snatching a woman’s purse in the Chinatown area.
It happened on Sept. 28 just before 11:45 p.m. when police said a man approached a woman waiting at the bus stop on North Hotel Street. Officials said he then proceeded to pull her bag from her shoulder causing her to fall.
He’s described as a Polynesian male, 5′6″ to 5′8″, slim build, brown complexion, dark hair, dark eyes, wearing a black hat, red shirt, gray overall pants, and black and yellow hockey jersey.
